The website www.burdamode.com is run by the publishing company Aenne Burda GmbH & Co. KG (hereafter referred to as burdamode.com), with headquarters at: Am Kestendamm 1, D-77652 Offenburg, Germany.

By globalizing their website Aenne Burda Publications have supplied the technical means by which their services can be made known worldwide and their products ordered online in many countries. Thus burdamode.com presents these sewing patterns and merely acts as the agent for contracting and carrying out international mail orders and is therefore is not the actual vendor/provider of the wares displayed. In this capacity, and exclusively to the purpose of delivering the goods, burdamode.com passes on coded information about the individual customer and order to the relevant distributor/online provider.

The following terms and conditions of sale are valid for all those persons who use the burdamode.com website from outside the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria.

In particular burdamode.com is not liable for any faults in the object or the legal situation concerning the wares on offer because the supplier as vendor is liable for such things. It is not the responsibility of burdamode.com to check the information given by the supplier and burdamode.com is not liable to the user for the correctness or completeness of the assertions made by the supplier, in as far as not conveyed by gross negligence or by deliberate misinformation on the part of burdamode.com.

Above and beyond the above mentioned paragraphs, the General Terms and Conditions of Business of the relevant country apply to the placement of the order and to the local distributor or online provider.
