Fly swatter curtain
The fly swatter curtain takes advantage of the shape of this vintage, environmentally friendly weapon, which has been widely replaced by insect spray in the modern world. Maybe my use of the fly swatter will signal a comeback of this traditional form. Maybe.....
Materials:
60 – 70 plastic fly swatters (makes a curtain measuring approx. 230 x 140 cm / 90 x 55 inches); small white plastic cable ties.

Instructions:
Flies won‘t have to worry once the fly swatters have been turned into a curtain. I used small white plastic cable ties to connect 5 fly swatters, one above the other, in a line. I then hung these lines of fly swatters next to one another, staggering them in respect to one another to account for the wider ends. I made a total of 12 lines of fly swatters for my curtain.
