By globalizing their website Aenne Burda Publications have supplied the technical means by which their products and services can be made known worldwide and so their products can be ordered online in many countries.
Our online-shop provides you with the opportunity to order all the styles included in burda’s individual collection of about 700 sewing patterns arranged in catalogues. Select what you want according to your likes and needs, then order at attractive prices. The sewing patterns you order online will be delivered by the local distributor/online-provider in your country.

All styles published in burda Fashion Magazine are available as paper sewing patterns included in each monthly issue, so they cannot be ordered individually. You can buy copies of burda Fashion Magazine at your local newsagent but of course it’s more convenient to take out a monthly subscription by ordering online at INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS
How do I order?
Pick out the style you want from our burda sewing pattern collection and activate the link under the relevant picture. Then click on the space marked “put style into shopping basket”, which will start the ordering process. If you wish to order more than one sewing pattern, you can follow the same procedure to put more items in your shopping basket. When you have selected everything you want, click on “contine ordering”.
Please note: online ordering is only possible in those countries listed in red on our burda partner list. If online ordering is not possible in your country, please enquire at your local distributor’s about any fabric shops/stores that sell burda sewing patterns. You will also find the necessary details under our contact information with the partner list.
Ordering with or without previous registration
Here you can continue your order by choosing between two possibilities, i.e. ordering with or without previous registration (logging-in):

1. Continuing your order without pre-registration:
Logging-in is not obligatory before ordering from burdamode.com. The disadvantage is that every time you place another order in future, you will also have to repeat your personal details, e.g. your postal address and e mail address each time. If you do not wish to log in, immediately click on “continue order”.

2. Continuing your order with registration (logging in):
Registration has its advantages: if we already have your data, you will not need to repeat everything for future orders, as the information will automatically be available next time. However, registration is necessary before the system can upload your data. Therefore go directly to the section marked “I’m new to burdamode.com” and enter the following information:
- Your log-in name: Choose any name for yourself (e.g. your first name), enter it in the space and make a note of it for future occasions.
- Password: Choose any password, enter it in the space and make a note of it.
- Repeat password: Confirm your password by entering it again, in order to notice and prevent any typing mistakes.
- E-mail: enter your e-mail address here, so that we can provide you with information about the status of your order.
Then click on the space marked “Register and order”.

You are now registered (logged in): Then everything will happen very quickly! Simply enter your log-in name and your password, then click on “log in and continue order”.
Providing your delivery address
We need further information for the rapid processing and delivering of your order. The most important is your complete delivery address! Therefore please carefully fill in your address in the spaces provided, noting that those marked with an asterisk (*) are absolutely essential for working on your order.
When you have entered your complete delivery address, the prices and postage charges for the articles shown in your shopping basket will appear on your screen, given in the local currency valid in your country.
Then click on “continue order”.
Choose a method of payment
Payment can be made directly by credit card or a bill can be sent to you – unless the distributor/ online-provider in your country insists on other conditions. The prices for the goods and delivery charges in the relevant currency for your country are also displayed during the course of the ordering process. Above and beyond that, our international business terms and conditions are valid, as well as the published terms and conditions of our local distributors.
When you have indicated how you wish to pay, click on “final bill”.
Packaging and postage costs
The cost of packaging and mailing is added to the price of our sewing patterns. This surcharge is set by the distributor in each country and is automatically displayed during the course of the ordering process.
Check the information you have given us
Before actually mailing your order, you will have a final opportunity to check all the details you have provided and making any necessary changes. To do so, click on the relevant function “change order” or “alteration” and then insert your corrections, additions, etc. Finish off by clicking on the space marked “send order”.
Your order has been finalized
The ordering process is now finished. If you have given your e-mail address, you will soon receive an e-mail confirmation from us. Please carefully read the details it contains concerning the address of our local distributor/online provider who will carry out the delivery and billing of the wares, and also note the corresponding terms of delivery and conditions of payment. If you have ordered without registering/logging-in, all such local distributor information is available on our homepage and can be printed out from there.
